Israel's Wix unveiled Studio Two on Monday, a new development and design environment for building websites that the company calls "the most advanced site editor in the company's history", Geektime reports. The platform is aimed mainly at agencies and professional web developers and combines an AI agent, free-form visual editing and coding inside the system.
At the center of the launch is Aria 2.0, Wix's AI agent, which produces several homepage design options from a short prompt. From there users can move between the visual editor and the React code generated in the background, through a built-in Visual Studio Code. Site code can be exported, worked on in environments such as Cursor, combined with code written with Claude and Codex, and imported back.
Users can also save recurring workflows as custom commands, so the agent applies the developer's standards in later projects. The editor supports the MCP protocol, letting agents and other AI tools manage almost every aspect of the site and of services such as Wix Stores and Wix Bookings. Studio Two will reach Wix partners first, then gradually all users.
