Sentra announced a $150 million Series C round led by Capital One Ventures, with existing investors Bessemer Venture Partners, Zeev Ventures, Standard Investments, Munich Re Ventures and Key1 Capital. A Capital One representative will join the board. The round brings the company's total funding to more than $260 million.

The company was founded in 2021 by Asaf Kochan, Yoav Regev (CEO), Ron Reiter (CTO) and Yair Cohen, veterans of Unit 8200 and Oracle. Its platform finds and classifies sensitive data across cloud, SaaS apps, data warehouses and file servers, maps who can reach it, including AI agents and service accounts, and enforces least-privilege access.

According to the company, the money will go toward expanding its data security capabilities for AI agents and growing its sales and marketing organization, including entering new regions.
