Paris Air Show organizers tell Israel's defense industry there is no room for its pavilions

IAI, Rafael and Elbit, which have exhibited at the Paris Air Show for decades, were told there is no exhibition space available for next summer's show. Israeli defense officials suspect a pretext for a political boycott, coming after Israeli firms were limited to showing defensive systems only at Euronaval.

According to CTech, organizers told the companies there is no space available for their pavilions, and the show's website says all exhibition space has been booked. Around 2,400 companies from about 50 countries are expected at the biennial show.

At the Euronaval naval exhibition, which opens next week in Paris, the French government is allowing Israeli companies to display defensive systems only. At the 2025 Paris Air Show, the Israeli pavilions were cordoned off with wooden panels and black fabric, and organizers said the companies were displaying offensive weapons.

Since October 7, the French government has taken steps that hindered Israeli companies' participation in several major arms exhibitions in Paris, including the Paris Air Show at Le Bourget and Eurosatory. It is not known whether a solution will be found that allows the Israeli companies to take part next summer.
