Mobileye beats Q3 forecasts and raises guidance, but the stock falls

Mobileye reported third-quarter revenue of $492 million on Thursday, above analyst expectations, and raised its annual guidance again. According to Globes, the stock weakened anyway, likely because no successor to CEO Amnon Shashua has been named.

According to Globes, quarterly revenue fell about 2% from the same quarter of 2025, against expectations of $477 million. Net profit per share was $0.11, versus a $0.10 forecast. The GAAP net loss narrowed 30.2% to $67 million, and adjusted net profit rose 25% to $95 million. Revenue for the first three quarters of 2026 rose 7.6% to $1.56 billion.

The company now expects annual revenue of $1.995 billion to $2.02 billion, up from $1.97 billion to $2.02 billion, and adjusted operating profit of $380 million to $420 million. According to Shashua, EyeQ chip shipments in the first nine months of the year rose 11%, while global vehicle production fell an estimated 1%. He cited Surround ADAS and Cloud-Enhanced ADAS design wins and, in robotaxis, permits and public deployments, adding that driver-out performance remains a critical milestone.

When it reported second-quarter results, Shashua announced plans to step down as CEO. According to Globes he has been offered the chairman role but has not yet decided, and the company has not said who will replace him. Mobileye, controlled by Intel, trades on Nasdaq at a market value of about $6 billion and holds $1.5 billion in cash and deposits.
