According to Nvidia's announcement, the companies will work together on optimizing Muse workflows to improve training and inference performance and lower total cost of ownership. Meta intends to expand its deployment of Nvidia infrastructure, including Vera Rubin systems and Vera CPUs, for its next generation of AI agents, and to deploy Spectrum-X Ethernet networking and BlueField-4 units.
The companies will also consider collaborating on Nvidia's OpenShell reference architecture, which includes OpenShell for safe agent deployment and NVIDIA Sentry for monitoring agent behavior. The announcement notes that the Muse models run on Nvidia infrastructure.
In addition, Nvidia will invest $3 billion in Meta's equity offering. The announcement does not give the size, timing or terms of the offering, and says the investment is subject to completion and closing conditions. The scale of the additional hardware deployment, in systems or power, was not disclosed either.
